She was born October 29, 1922, In Maribel, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Carl and Paulina Becker Rabenhorst.
On May 18, 1945, Ruth was united in marriage to Kenneth J. Schnell.
The couple resided in the village of Cleveland where they owned and operated Schnell and Mattson Carpenters and later K.J. Schnell Plumbing and Heating, until the time of Kenneth's death in August of 1976. Ruth was an active part of the business as the bookkeeper.
Ruth is survived by to sons, Edward (Kathy) Schnell of Yukon Oklahoma and Kenneth (Lynn) Schnell of Cleveland, WI: one daughter Ellen (Milton) Pahmeier of Cleveland: eight Grandchildren, Jimmy (Natalie) Schnell and Thaddeus (Monica) Schnell of Oklahoma, Michael (Gail) Pahmeier of Cleveland, Robert (Christine) Pahmeier of Stevens Point, WI, Benjamin Schnell of Neenah, WI, Nathan Schnell of Stevens Point, Jacob and Rachael Schnell of Cleveland; four great-grandchildren: one sister, Esther (Randy) Krueger of Wayside, WI one brother–in-law, Harold (Alice) Schnell, and one sister-in-law, Jeanette (William) Hochkammer of rural Manitowoc as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, two brothers, Hubert and Leonard Rabenhorst; two sisters, Lora Klug Lemke and Erma Belitz.
Burial at St Johannes Cemetery in Cleveland.
