Born to Edward Franklin Traylor (1852-1927) & Zilpha Eliza Coley Traylor (1857-1942).

Homer married Ada Nell Harrington (1906-2006) on Jan. 2, 1926, in Winters, TX. He was 41; she was 19. After Homer died, Ada married Ode Clark and moved to Arkansas, where she is buried with Ode. Memorial 104050411 in Bradshaw Cemetery is a cenotaph.

• Edwanell Traylor Cook Coates (Oct. 22, 1931 - living in Big Spring, TX; married Guy Cook)
• Minnie Fae Traylor Whitehouse (April 9, 1934 - living in Arkansas; twin to Merna)
• Merna Mae Traylor Pierce (April 9, 1934-living in Dumas; twin to Minnie; married Jack Pierce)
• Peggy Joyce Traylor Edwards Fikes Vollmert (1937-2005)

Twins run in this family. Homer had twin sisters, Eura & Eunice Traylor.

From the Abilene Reporter-News, April 9, 1946:
Funeral for Homer Traylor, 61, long-time resident of Bradshaw who died Sunday, will be held at the Methodist church in Bradshaw at 3 p.m. today with the Rev. Emmett Brooks of Southland and the Rev. Tom Young of View officiating. Burial under the direction of Laughter-North Funeral home will be in the Bradshaw Cemetery.

Mr. Traylor, who was born May 18, 1884, moved with his parents to Bradshaw at an early age and was engaged in the ranching business at the time of his death.

Surviving are his widow, two sons, Jimmie Frank Traylor of Abilene and David Traylor, in the merchant marine; four daughters, Edwanell, Peggy Joyce, twins Minnie and Merna of Bradshaw; five sisters, Mrs. Joe Saunders and Mrs. R.H. Herrington of Bradshaw, Mrs. Joe Poindexter of Friona, Miss Eunice Traylor and Mrs. Cora Elam of Austin; and two brothers.
