Willard E. Anderson, age 91, formerly of 3415 Kete St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning, May 3, 2007, at Kindred Hearts of Manitowoc.
Willard was born on Aug. 8, 1915, in Manitowoc, son of the late Albert and Regina Larson Anderson. He married Elaine Henricks on May 31, 1941, in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on Oct. 3, 2001. Willard was employed as a machinist for 37 years at Manitowoc Engineering Company, retiring in 1977.
Survivors include three sons: Richard W. Anderson, Lansing, Iowa; James E. Anderson, Denver, Colo.; Michael B. Anderson, Denver, Colo.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren: one brother: Harold Anderson, Manitowoc; three sisters: Elinor Musil, Manitowoc; Virginia Kuschel, Madison; Elaine Waarum, Boise, Idaho; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Willard was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Elaine; two brothers: Noel and Vernon Anderson; two infant sisters: Natalie and Doris Anderson.
Memorials may be made to Peter's Pantry of Manitowoc.
According to Willard's wishes, no services will be held. Cremation will have taken place.
