Willard Herschel Austin, 75 of Athens, died Wednesday at his residence.
Services will be 11AM Saturday (Lie-in-State 10-11PM Saturday) at First Church with Dr. Rick Craft and Bruce Johnson officiating, burial in Roselawn Cemetery, visitation is from 6-9PM Friday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mr. Austin was born February 27, 1941 in Limestone County, he was a member of the First Church, and he was retired from City of Athens and owner of A&A Lawn Service.
Survivors: Wife: Dannie Frances Austin, Athens, Special Nephew: Johnny Morell Jr., Athens, Special Nieces: Lisa Michelle Coleman, and Hannah Anton and Diane Anton of Ardmore, AL, Six Special Great Nieces and Nephews: Allison Rogers, Michael Rogers, Dustin Anton, Auston Morell and Peyton Morell.
Memorials may be made to Food Bank at First Church.
