R BROWN OF CHAMPAIGN IS DEATH VICTIM
Adam Richard Brown 71 died at his home 348 th North Hickory street Champaign Wednesday night at 10 3i o'clock Mr. Brown who has been a harness maker in Champaign since 1904 has been very ill ( since August Complications developed in the last four weeks and his condition became serious. A. R' Brown was the son of Thomas and Margaret Brown. He was born in Piqua, Ohio (this needs confirmed, his parents were married in Pickaway, ohio) December 27 1855 and he came to Illinois and settled in Tuscola at the age of 31 In 1904 he moved to Champaign and established a business of his own at 207 South Water Street which he operated up until the time of his illness lie was married April 2, 1880, to Rose Mitchell of Lafayette Ind. Mr Brown is survived by the widow and the following children Mrs. Anna Magnuson 132 South Prairie street Mrs George Moore Tus-(cola Mis Jessie Conover 1301 North Hickorv street Champaign Mrs. Faith Marshall 348 Ms North Hie hoi y street Champaign Leon Brown East St Louis Wayne Brown 312 South Prairie street Champaign Mrs. Helen Devanev Kankakee a daughter Grace died in infancy and Mrs. Emily Hall died a year ago last January The body will be taken to Tuscola Friday morning where services will be conducted from the First Methodist church of which he was a member Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock Rev M M Kern will be in charge of the services Interment will be made in the Cartwright cemetery.
