Heart Attack Causes Death (Special Staff Correspondence) ONTARIO, Dec. 26.
Mrs. Rosa Celeste Brown, widow of Adam Richard Brown, died early today at her home, 2009 South Cucamonga avenue, following a heart attack suffered last night. Mrs. Brown, who had resided in Ontario for more than four years, was 80 years of age at time of her death. A native of Clarkshlll, Ind., she came here from Tuscola, 111. She was a member of the First Evangelical church. Surviving Mrs. Brown are five daughters, Mrs. Jessie Conover and Mrs. Faith Marshall, Ontario; Mrs. Helen Deveney, Chicago; Mrs. Margaret Moore, Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Anna Magnuson, Champaign, III.; two sons, Leon Brown, Tuscola, 111., and Wayne Brown, Champaign, 111.; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, 10 a.m., at the J. B. Draper Co. chapel, 127 West C street, with the Rev. Paul Neerman officiating. Announcement is made that friends may call at the chapel Sunday, 7 to 9 p.m., as the casket will not be opened at the funeral. Private cremation will follow the services.
