Jessie S. Brissette of San Antonio, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Friday, November 2, 2007, at the age of 80. She was born December 22, 1926, Markham, Texas, to Martin Luther and Vada Robertson. Jessie was a graduate of Baylor University and Sul Ross University, where she earned her Master's Degree. She began her teaching career in Bay City, then went on to teach in Iraan and El Paso, where she was a former President and active member of the Trans-Pecos Texas Teachers Association. Jessie is survived by her husband, Alphonse L. Brissette; son, R. Michael Scallorn and wife, Linda K.; grandson, Robert Thaddeus Reese; sisters, Mary E. Hawkins and Gladys Cornman; brother, Martin L. Robertson. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 1, 2007, at Porter Loring Mortuary North. MEMORIAL SERVICE. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2007. 2:00 P.M.
