Obituary:
Susanne Baughn, 86, passed away July 12, 2021 at Carriage Court of Washington Court House in the care of the staff of ladies that she loved so much. She was born April 12, 1935 to the late William and Serepta (Butcher) Dawes in Fayette County. Susanne was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She leaves behind her husband of 69 years, Marion R. Baughn. Susanne is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her son Michael R. Baughn and daughter Penny S. Carver. In addition to her husband, Susanne is survived by son Marion "Ross" (Michele) Baughn of Washington Court House and daughter Sally (Bill) Bailey of Grove City. She loved her ten grandchildren: Marion R. Baughn, Michael R. Baughn, Lance E. Heath, Benjamin D. Carver, Matthew R. Baughn, Kyle R. Baughn, Alyssa N. Baughn, Liam A. Bailey, Jacob A. Bailey and Hannah M. Bailey. Susie also had six great-grandchildren as well as extended family and friends that will miss her. Susie traveled the world with her four children in tow while Marion served 20 plus years in the US Air Force. She would later work as an activities coordinator and secretary for Court House Manor, as well as working at The Stitchin'Post in WCH. In addition to crocheting, she loved to camp and was always ready for a game of cards or bingo. Although her light now shines in heaven, all who knew her will carry forth a spark that she gave us to use if our light is not shining as brightly as it could. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 1:00pm at Washington Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating. All are welcome.
