Age 95 of Flushing, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her residence.
Honoring her wishes, no public services are being scheduled. She will be placed to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan where she will be with her husband, Clarence.
Jean was the daughter of Charles William and Madelon G. (Larmor) Dietrich, born in Genesee County on Setember 6, 1925.
She married Clarence J. Carlson in Flint on October 25, 1942 while he was home on leave from the United States Navy; he preceded her in death on January 10, 2005.
Jean is survived by her children: James Carlson and wife Karen of Rapid City, MI, Deborah Carlson of Flushing, MI, and Jeffery Carlson and wife Judy of Gallatin, TN; eight grandchildren, Catharene and Michael Carlson,Robert and Jennifer Jones, Tracy and Jesse Minor, Michael Todorow and wife Heather, Erik Todorow, Erin Todorow, Cody Carlson, Ryan Carlson and Tyler Carlson; six great grandchildren, Brent Jones, Cameron Carlson, Christopher Carlson, Jesse, Lilly and Owen Minor; greata-great grandson, Logan Todorow; other loving family and friends.
