---Nona Hazel Hopper, age 88 of Macon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her home.
---Born January 19, 1933 in Browning, Missouri, the daughter of Roy and Viola (Hall) Jones. On November 12, 1950 in Kirksville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Allen L. Hopper who preceded her in death on June 3, 2012.
---Also preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Henry Clay Jones, Herman Jones, and John Keith Jones; one sister, Barbara Sayre; and one great great grandson.
---Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Walker and Linda (John) Brown both of Macon, Missouri; two sons, Doug (Cynthia) Hopper of Macon, Missouri and Jeff (Nikole) Hopper of Camas, Washington; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
---Nona was a graduate of Browning High School. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, and most of all, spending time with her family.
---Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be Chaplain Karen Shearer. Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery.
---Visitation will be Saturday, July 24, 2021 with the family receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
---Memorials in memory of Nona may be made to the La Plata Cemetery. They may be sent to or left at Travis Funeral Chapel, 125 S. Church St., La Plata, MO 63549.
