David was born September 4, 1930, at Chicago, Ill. He served in the U.S Navy and retired from Amoco Oil Company. David married Kathryn McQueen on September 21, 1968 at Arlington Heights, Ill.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin (Carmen) Tector of Arlington Heights, Ill.; two daughters, Denise Tector of Manitowoc and her special friend Scott Balthazor, Kariann Tector of Manitowoc; two grandchildren, Danielle and Zachary; and one brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Joan) Tector of Charles City, Iowa.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for the Salvation Army.
