Mr. Raymond C. Shettek, 52, of 1216 Arlington Avenue, March 11, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Memorial services will be 1:30 pm Saturday at Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc. Deacon David Bestul of Holy Innocents Catholic Church will conduct services with cremation having taken place.

Mr. Shettek was born March 15, 1932 at Cedar, Michigan, son of the late Joseph and Martha Vert Shettek. He attended schools in Two Rivers and graduated from Washington High School in 1951. Mr. Shettek was a Korean War Veteran serving from 1952-1954. He was in the Reserves for ten years and the National Guard for one year. Mr. Shettek was a member of Amvets Post No. 99. He was employed at Heresite-Saekaphen Inc., as a night watchman. He married Marcella Rank on September 11, 1954, in Manitowoc and the couple resided here. Mr. Shettek was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marcella; a son, Michael Shettek, residing at Seymor (Johnson A.F.B. in North Carolina); a daughter, Kathryn Shettek of Austin, Texas; his step-father and step-mother, Adolph and Vi Koch Miller of Two Rivers, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

There will be no Friday evening visitation. Jens Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
