Arthur R. Schultz, 39, of 730 North 12th Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday, April 22, 1990.

Memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm Monday at Jens Funeral home. Rev. Robert Hays will officiate with cremation having taken place.

Mr. Schultz was born August 23, 1950 in Manitowoc, son of Joseph Schultz and the late Rosemary Cox Schultz. He married the former Judy Jagodinsky on September 29, 1973 in Manitowoc. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1968. He was employed with the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company Local 443 Boiler Makers Union serving on the Negotiation and Bargaining Committee and also the Safety Council. He was a Union Steward and also served on the Activity Fund Committee. He was a member of the Manitowoc Yacht Club.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; his father, Joseph Schultz, two sons, Christopher and Aaron Schultz, both at home; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ann Schultz of Madison and Mary Jo and Bill Atchison of Lansing, Michigan; a mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Gertie Jagodinsky of Manitowoc; a step father-in-law, Vernon Woznick; a grandmother-in-law, Evelyn Kaiser; a brother-in-law, James Jagodinsky; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joy and Ed VanEss; a step sister-in-law, Bonnie Price and a special friend, John Engeldinger; nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Alvin and Florence Schultz and Arthur and Ruth Cox, his mother-in-law, Joyce Woznick and a nephew, Shawn Jagodinsky.

Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, 5 pm Monday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial had been established in his name.
