June 20, 1932 — March 8, 2016

Lionel L. Dufenhorst assed away peacefully at Marquardt Manor on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the age of 83.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores (nee Weide), of 60 years; his children Dawn (Mike) LaVenture, Donna (Kurt) Lindemann and Doreen (Mike) Ryan; and grandchildren Melissa, Jennifer, Stephanie, Shannon, Steven, Scott, Rachel, and Matthew, and 10 greatgrandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Denise; his parents; his brother; and his five sisters.

Lionel served in the Korean War in Germany as a signal corpsman in the Army. He was a lifelong member of the Oconomowoc VFW Post 2260 and a member of Okauchee American Legion #399. He worked 43 years at Waukesha Engine and was a longtime member of St.

Matthew's Church. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and special time with family and friends at Pelican Lake. He also loved the many special vacations he took with his wife. Lionel will be deeply missed by all!

Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM on Saturday, March 12, at St.

Matthew's Lutheran Church, 818 W. Wisconsin Ave., Oconomowoc. Following the service, Lionel will be laid to rest at Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia, receiving full military honors.

Memorials to the church or Marquardt Manor are appreciated.
