Thelma Ready, age 100, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2007, in Carrollton.
She was born September 3, 1907 in Denton to Stephen Luther McReynolds and Irma Susan McGee McReynolds. Thelma married Scott Ready on February 16, 1941 in Dallas. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2001. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lewisville.
She is survived by her daughter, B.J. Ladd and her husband John; granddaughter, Jana and her husband, Doug and great grandchildren; Keith, Matthew and Andrew.
Thelma was preceded in death by and grandson, Scott Lyon.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2007, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel in Lewisville. Interment will follow in Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. Reverend Paul Sackett will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
