HARTSVILLE - Bobby Joe Edwards Sr. age 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 13, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Ladell Humphries and Dr. Richard Bailey will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Bobby was born in Marion, a son of the late Junior Walter and Fronica Reed Edwards. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company. Surviving are his wife Dianne Fann Edwards, Hartsville; two daughters, Lynn (Eugene) McMurry, Great Falls, Teresa Mell Edwards, Decatur, IL; one son, Bobby Joe Edwards, Jr., Great Falls; one brother, Billy Joe Edwards, Columbia; two sisters, Brenda Padgett, Columbia, Barbara (Leo) Whigham, Gilbert; nine grandchildren, Cody McMurray, Erin & Chris Edwards, Joshua & Mariah Mell, Casey Bruns, Halen Payne, Parker & Lakyn Wilkerson; Special Friends, Margaret Rhodes.
