Mr. Makin, age 73, passed away Sept. 19, 1982.
Mr. Makin had been a resident of the greater Lansing area for the past 50 years. He was employed at Lansing Tool and Die and Lansing Drop Forge and a member of Moose Lodge 288.
Surviving are 2 sons; 1 daughter; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Religious services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wed. in the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with interment in Deepdale Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Tues.
Pallbearers will be Art Hunter, Jim Lischkge, Rodger Makin, John Reeves.
