Alexina Bell Clopton, a longtime resident of the Rogers Forge section of Baltimore, died on Friday, October 14, 1994, of acute pancreatitis and respiratory failure at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. Born and reared in Baltimore, she was educated at a local finishing school. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of The Redeemer in Baltimore. Her husband, Edward J. Clopton, Sr., whom she married in 1929, predeceased her in 1982. She is survived by their son, Edward J. Clopton, Jr. of Levittown, PA, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 1994, at 10:30 am in the chapel of the Church of the Redeemer, Charles Street and Melrose Avenue, with burial immediately following at Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore.
