Homer J. Aebi, 80, died Thursday, March 25, 1999 at Memorial Hospital West Volusia. Born May 27, 1918 in Canton, OH , he was the son of John and Ruth Ella Getty Aebi. He was a retired truck driver for Bloom & Klein Wholesale Grocery and was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple, Canton, OH. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the army from February 3, 1942 to January 3, 1946. He was a member of the DAV, VFW and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Survivors include: his wife, Idamay Aebi, Deland, FL; two sons, Homer Aebi Jr., Norman, OK, and Michael Aebi, Tampa, FL; two daughters, Sharon Paul, Massilon, OH, and Melissa Brown, Harrodsburg; two sisters, Freda Frederick and Mary Gogle, both of Massillon, OH; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 31, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel in Harrodsburg with Bro. Robert Logue officiating. Burial was in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Nicholasville.
