KAREN L. GONZAGOWSKI, 84, peacefully passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, in Merritt Island, Fla., with family at her side. Karen was born in Rochester, Minn. She attended Rochester High School and graduated from Rochester Community College with an Associate's Degree in Business. She then met and married her husband, Jim. They were married for 50 years before his passing in 2012. Karen and Jim relocated multiple times in the Midwest while Jim was employed with IBM, choosing Fort Wayne to settle in and raise their four kids. Karen and Jim owned and operated Consumer Contact Services and greatly enjoyed their "demo" family. She was a member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church and Grace United Methodist Church. Karen loved spending time on the golf course, entertaining, crafting, volunteering, playing cards and vacationing on Woman Lake in northern Minnesota. She spent her later years enjoying the sun and warm weather in Fla. She is survived by her brother, Charlie (Elsa) Paulsen; sister, Judy (Ron) Erickson; daughter, Lynda (Claude) Weese, daughter, Leisha (Mark) Sinclair; son, Jamie (Amy); daughter, Laurie (Lucas) Satter; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, and brother Joe. Funeral Service for Karen is 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at Grace United Methodist Church, Merritt Island, Fla.
