Lewis E. "Ed" Campbell, 95, of North Grapevine Road, Sissonville, went home to be with our Lord November 18, 2007, at his home after a short illness.

He was a member of the Leatherwood Baptist Church and a retired supervisor from the West Virginia Department of Highways.

Mr. Campbell was predeceased by his father, Lewis E. Campbell, and his mother, Laura Jones Campbell; a son Jimmie; two brothers, Lawrence and Norvel; and four sisters, Goldie Fields, Sylvia Fields, Stella Flowers and Mamie Milam.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his sons, John Campbell and his wife, Catherine, of Toms River, New Jersey, and Ordie W. Campbell and his wife, Kindell, of Evans; daughters, Goldie M. Baldwin and her husband, Aundel, of St. Albans and Betty J. Zeliff and her husband, Robert, of Lakeland, Florida; sisters, Genevieve Shamblin and Coleen Riley, both of Charleston, and Lucille Nichols of Rodney, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbell Cemetery, North Grapevine Road, Sissonville.

Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
