FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY FOR FORMER RESIDENT

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Webb chapel for Robert N. Hudson of Delhi, former resident of this district, who died in a Merced hospital Sunday.

The Rev. Oliver Kelly officiated, and burial was in Olive cemetery.

Mr. Hudson was born June 27, 1865, in Missouri, and had been a resident of California for thirty-four years. From 1909 to 1918, he made his home in the Prairie Center district, residing on what is now the R. A. Strate ranch. He had lived in Delhi for two years.

Surviving relatives are his widow, Mrs. Adelaide Hudson of Delhi; three sons, Wesley Hudson of Delhi; L. L. Hudson of Porterville, and B. A. Hudson of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Keene of Lancaster, Mrs. Ezra Milhous of Strathmore, and Ruth Hudson of Delhi; three sisters, twenty grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
