Dorothy Jean (Leverette) Adamcik of DeSoto, Texas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away July 25, 2021. She was born October 25, 1939, in Dallas, Tx, the youngest daughter of Floyd and Gertrude (Connor) Leverette. She grew up with four wonderful sisters and one special brother and adored all of them. After graduating from St. Edwards Academy high school, she met her best friend and married Frank Adamcik on June 13, 1959. They had two children and settled in DeSoto Texas.

Dorothy was a devoted Catholic and a founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she loved volunteering which included serving at the food pantry and with the parish bazaar. She retired as a Accountant after a 25+ year career from Continental Insurance. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time watching her grandchildren at all their activities. She loved researching family genealogy and making all sorts of crafts. She especially loved family get togethers celebrating all holidays and family reunions. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank C. Adamcik; daughter, Marci (Adamcik) Farrell; son, Don Adamcik & wife Annette; grandchildren, Nicole (Adamcik) Hanley & husband Mike, Brittany Adamcik & fiancée Aaron St. John, Connor Farrell & wife Leandra, Kristen Milligan & husband Marshall, Kyle Yarbrough; great grandchildren, Brooke, Brady, Grant, & Gavin Milligan, Laurel & Laney Farrell; brother, Joe Leverette & wife Sue; sister, Margie (Leverette) Muse & husband Vic; sisters in-law, Florence Hrncir; June Adamcik, Marilyn Adamcik, Lucy Janda & husband Tony; brother in-law, Ben Adamcik & wife JoAnn; along with many nieces and nephews.Dorothy Jean (Leverette) Adamcik of DeSoto, Texas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away July 25, 2021.
