Andrew B. JONES, 75, 806 East Water Street, Pontiac, died at his home Saturday. Mr. JONES was born a son of James Riley and Tabitha [WEAVER] JONES. He was educated in Washington County schools and in 1909 came to Pontiac Township. From 1919 until 1952 he farmed in Rooks Creek Township. He retired then and moved to Pontiac. He was married to Miss Ella ROBINSON at Nashville, Illinois on the 29th of November 1906. Surviving are four daughters; Mrs. Laura [Elmer] MEIER], Pontiac; Mrs. Leola [John] HUTSON] and Mrs. Marie [Leo] SHOOP, rural Pontiac, and Mrs. Elnora [Chap] RORK of Graymont; Five sons; Floyd of Verona; Aurbon, Clarence, Harold, and Dale JONES, all of Pontiac, 17 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death. The last of his immediate family, he was also preceded in death by five brothers, five sisters, and two great-grandchildren.
