Kenneth J. Burton, age 79, of Livingston, WI passed away on Saturday morning July 24, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 26, 1941 in Dodgeville the son of Mervin and Iva (Mills) Burton. Kenny was united in marriage to Charlotte Pierce on March 19, 1960 at the Mt. Ida Church. They were blessed with five children.

Kenny worked at various places within the Grant and Iowa counties until being employed at Nelson/Fleet Guard in Mineral Point and retiring in 2002. He enjoyed spending time with his wife traveling to Branson, MO, and Texas, along with many day trips. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Livingston-Clifton Fire Department for many years and was a member of Mifflin and Lima Union Churches. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt and Nascar fan, and enjoyed going to local races, but by far his first love was his family.

Kenny is survived by his beloved wife Charlotte of Livingston, five children; Cindy (Bart) Baker of Livingston, Brenda (Rick) Towsley of Livingston, Jeff (Toni) Burton of Lampasas, TX, Greg (Teresa) Burton of Livingston and Rodney (Heather) Burton of Livingston along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We will greatly miss his fun sense of humor, his enormous heart, kind spirit and unwavering dedication to family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Gary Grunow for is many years of immeasurable care, Upland Hills Hospice RN's, and all of our friends and family for their love and support.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday July 29, 2021 at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort, WI with burial to follow in the Rock Church Cemetery rural Livingston, WI. Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 P.M. on Wednesday July 28, 2021 at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home where a Fireman's Last Call Ceremony by the Livingston-Clifton Fire Department will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening. There will also be visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday morning.
