Charles Bedrosian was the son of Hagop (Jacob) Bedrosian and his wife Lucy Zavzavijian. His Armenian first name was Nerses. Charles lived at 5104 Sansom Street and was a rug cleaner at 1107 Chestnut Street. He was killed at age 21 when he was thrown from his bicycle and hit by a truck. He was riding west on Walnut Street when at 34th Street he collided with a man who stepped from the curb to board a trolley car. He then fell into the path of an approaching truck. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, this was the fifty-ninth automobile related fatality in Philadelphia that year. The informant on the death certificate was John Temoyan, a rug dealer, so perhaps it was his firm Charles worked for.
