David Allen Bear was born on September 9, 1963 to Joan Mary Marko and David Paul Bear in Modesto, CA. He graduated from Downey High School in 1981 and later went on to serve 4 years in the United States Navy. He was a strong presence in the lives of his friends and family and will be remembered for his funny and infectious personality. David is leaving behind his two daughters Tracee Bear and Lindsee Bear and former wife Londa Bear. He is also survived by his mother Joan Hartline and father David Bear and Valerie Bear, sister Karen Quintoa and Karl Quintoa, brother Brian Bear and Rae Bear, brother Brent Bear, step-siblings Josh, Kelly, and Jacob Corey, and nieces and nephews Tabatha and Tatum Quintoa, James Cuevas and Ashlee Cawein, and Hannah and Logan Bear, and great-niece Emily Hodge.
A Celebration of life will be held at East La Loma Park on Saturday, October 15th at 2 p.m.
