Glenn Dale Chrisman was the fourth of seven children born to William Albert Chrisman and Emma Jane Shelton. He lived most of his young life in the Marshalltown, Iowa and Tipton, Iowa area where he most likely acquired his love of fishing and hunting and all outdoor activities.
In May of 1910 he married Loretta Maud Vroman. Together they had two children: Erwin Dale and Vera Marie and lived in the Davenport (Quad Cities) area. Unfortunately this marriage did not last. After their divorce Glenn married Ocie Lily Lee and lived in the New Mexico area. They had a son, Glenn Jr.
Glenn finally settled his family in the Los Angeles area with other family members eventually joining them. Glenn's ashes were scattered in the San Gabriel mountains, an area near and dear to his heart.
