Harold B. Adams, a former resident of Mount Union, died unexpectedly at his summer home at Newton Hamilton Tuesday evening, July 9, 1968.

Born at Mount Union of March 19, 1913, he was a son of Harry S. and Laura (Wentz) Adams. He was united in marriage to Helen W. Faust of Mount Union R.D.

His wife survives, along with four sons: William H. Adams, Lancaster; James R. Adams, Gettysburg R.D.; Samuel B. Adams, Mechanicsburg and Daivd F. Adams, at home. There are three grandchildren.

Also surviving is one brother, Ralph G. Adams of Everett.

The deceased was a member of the Lutheran Church at Mount Union. He belonged to Lodge No. 688, F. and A. M. at Mount Union and had served as master of the lodge. He was a member of Harrisburg Consistory and belonged to Jaff Temple, Altoona.

Adams was formerly employed at the Pennsylvania Glass Sand plant at Mapleton. For the past three years he had been associated with the Milton-Hershey Schools.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, at 2 p.m. from the Clark funeral home, Mount Union. The Rev. Waller S. smith will officiate and interment will be made in the Mount Union I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends are being received at the funeral home until the hour of the services.

Masonic memorial services will be held at the funeral home tonight at 8 o'clock.
