Mary R. Dean, 61 of Ulster Avenue Lake Katrine died Sunday April 14, 2013 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. Born July 17, 1951 in Kingston, she was a daughter of Mary (DeCicco) Bunten of Port Ewen and the late Francis Bunten.
Mary is survived by her husband, Donald Dean of Lake Katrine; her daughters Stephanie Earl and her husband Bill of Stone Ridge, Kristin Balonis (David VanLoan) of Port Ewen; her stepson Jesse Dean of Los Angeles, California; her sisters, Bonnie Greene of Port Ewen, Beverly DeLuca and her husband Frank of Orange City, Florida and Paula Slater and her husband Brian of Myrtle Beach; her brothers, Dan Bunten and his wife Sue of Port Ewen and Frank Bunten and his wife Cheryl of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Bailey and Alexis Nastaszewski, Jordan and Billy Earl and Nicholas Dean; her mother and father in law, Alan and Dorothy Tomkpkins of Poughkeepsie and her sister in law Donna Katz and her husband Lee. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Her son, Gerald (Jay) Balonis, nephews Cody Bunten and Daniel Cook and her brother in law Duncan Greene all died previously.
