Richard Clyde Adams, age 73, passed away in Mt Pleasant on August 2, 2021. He was born on September 19, 1947, to Clyde S. and Leltha Lorine Wilson Adams in Cooper, Texas. Mr. Adams was a member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ, and self-employed restaurant owner.
He is survived by his sons; Daryl Adams, Galen Adams and wife Darla, daughter; Rebecca Davis and husband Brad, daughter in law; Susan Adams, grandchildren; Brittney Miller, Colby Adams, Ryan Adams, Tyler Adams, Amber Adams, Christopher Adams, Lari Gilmer, great grandchildren; Amelia, Marshall, Isabelle, Matthew, Win, Ruth, brothers; Bob Adams and wife Pat, Jay Adams, sisters; Betty Martin, Nancy Lindsey, Jan McKennon and husband John, sisters-in-law; Barbara Roderick and husband John, Jan Flener, Patricia Sandy .
Preceded in death by his wife; Judy Kay Adams, parents; Clyde and Lorine Adams, brother; Gary Adams, brother-in law; Von Martin, Roland Lindsey.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel. Graveside service will follow Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 12:30pm at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Honey Grove, Texas. Bro. John Roderick will officiate service.
