He was born at Luke, the son of the late Edward Clyde and Rhoda D. (Huff) Ack.
He was a retired employee of Allegany Ballistics Laboratory of Hercules, Inc.; was a member of Calvary Untied Methodist Church and a member of Davis Lodge 51 AF & AM.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Arvilla (Mills) Ack; one daughter, Mrs. Elaine Gerilich, Crystal Lake, Ill; one brother, Fred Ack, Westernport; and five sisters, Mrs. Grace McIntyre, Mrs. Lola Junkins, both of Luke; Mrs. Dorothy Maroney, Oakland; Mrs. May Broderick, Butler, Pa.; and Mrs. Kathleen Nichol, Baltimore; and 3 grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. in the funeral home by the Rev. J. Frank Plybon, pastor of Calvary United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens.
