ROMAN HALLADA

Roman J. Hallada, age 87, of 11512 Lakeshore Rd., in the town of Two Rivers, died Friday evening, October 13, 2000, at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Tuesday, October 17, 2000, at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, in Tisch Mills, with the Rev. Joseph R. Coopmans O. Praem officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Roman was born August 6, 1913, in Green Bay, son of the late Vincent and Emma Sladtky Hallada. He attended Pleasantview School and Mishicot High School. He farmed his entire life in the town of Mishicot with his twin brother Raymond. Together they owned and operated Hallada Brothers Farms. He retired in 1978.
Roman was a charter member of the Mishicot Sportsman's Club and life long member of the Pleasantview Gun Club, where he served as secretary treasurer for over 50 years. He was an avid bowler and hunter. He enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Vivian Hallada, town of Mishicot; two nephews, LeRoy (Lila) Hallada, town of Two Rivers, Dale (Audrey) Hallada,Two Rivers; one niece, Beverly (Keith) Luebke, Wisconsin Rapids; his very special friend, Mildred Frank, town of Two Rivers. He is also survived by Mildred's children, Laddie and Lynne Frank, Two Creeks; Leonard and Kay Frank, Caso, Mary J. and Virgil Ferry, Sussex; great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dan and Leona Hallada, his twin brother, Raymond Hallada, who died August 23, 2000 and one sister and brother-in-law, Leona and Ken Cole; two nephews, Richard and Harold (Babe) Hallada.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 4-8 pm at the Lambert Funeral Home in Mishicot. There will be a 7 pm parish wake service Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue after 10 am on Tuesday at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Catholic Church, Tisch Mills until the time of services at 11 am.
