Mrs. Otto (Julia) Sporer, 90, of 958 Steiner Drive, Mishicot, died Sunday afternoon, November 19, 1989 at Two Rivers Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday at Lambert Funeral Home and the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. Rev. Ralph Hermen will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Sporer was born March 14, 1899 at Carlile, Arkansas, daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Sladky Dvorak. She lived in the city of Two Rivers, Manitowoc and the Town of Two Rivers until she was married to Otto Sporer on January 27, 1920. the couple then farmed in the Town of Two Creeks for 65 years. They celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in 1980. He preceded her in death in September, 1964. Since his death she has resided with her daughter. Mrs. Sporer was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Mishicot Senior Citizens and Lakeview Homemakers Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Marie Eis of Mishicot; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Frances Sporer of Manitowoc and Mrs. Louise Sporer of Chicago; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, a son-in-law and an infant grandson.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, 4 pm to 9 pm Tuesday where a memorial service will be at 7:30 pm.
