Hershal Agan Dead
Young Man Succumbed to Disease of Throat.
Hershal Agan, of 709 North B street, died at the family home last night at 10:30 o'clock. The cause of death was tuberculosis of the throat. He had been in poor health for some time and several months ago he went to Texas in the hope of benefitting his condition, but he returned in a short time and gradually grew worse until the end came last night. The deceased ws aged 25 years. He was born March 9, 1889 and had resided in Arkansas City all his life. His father passed away a few months ago. Mr. Agan leaves a mother, Mrs. James Agan, and a young wife to mourn his demise. For several years Mr. Agan was a prominent member of the Harmony Four Concert company and he was a splendid tenor singer. Members of that musical organization will net as pall bearers at the funeral which will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence. Rev. J.E. Henshaw will conduct the funeral services.
