Obituary:

Larry was born in Dothan, AL to Vernie and Sarah Shiver.
He was one of 9 children. He is survived by his eldest brother
Vernon Lewis. Larry is preceeded in death by Richard L., Duff,
Lloyd , David C, Willie J, Mary Lightfoot, Shirley J. Brooks. He
is survived by 8 children, Lorretta West, Lisa More,
Mary Anne Shiver Dent, Angela Shiver, Larry Shiver, Jr. ,
Kim Gilmore, Aaron Hippensteal, Brad Shiver. Multiple
grand and great grandchildren. Larry moved to Eastpoint in 1991.
He perfected the art of cooking in New York where he got his
culinary degree where he perfected the art of burnt grilled chicken.
He then went into the fishing industry. He was an avid outdoors person.
He enjoyed having shindigs and being boss man. He was full of life
and made everyone around him feel special. He had the gift of making life
exciting without even realizing it. He enjoyed having his family and friends
over to either cook out or fish fries. Larry will be missed by his family
and friends. A viewing will be held August 12, 2021 10:00 A.M. at Eastpoint
Cemetery followed by the service 11:00 A.M. The family invites everyone
to join them in the celebration of Larry's life 794 Otterslide Rd
Eastpoint , FL 32328.
