Cora J. (Bird) Pensyl was the wife of Lemuell Y. Pensyl. She was the daughter of Ulysses Bird (b. 1854) and his wife Catherine (Hower) Bird. Ulysses was a son of James Bird (b. 1814) and his wife Catherine Bird (b. 1818) of Bear Gap, Northumberland Co., PA. Ulysses Bird is believed buried in nearby Columbia County possibly in the small town of Light Street, PA on highway 487 - just beyond Bloomsberg. Other Birds are buried there. These are possibly their other children.
