August 23, 1946 ~ August 2, 2021 (age 74)

Our mother, grandma and great grandma Patricia Mae White passed away peacefully on August 2, 2021, at 74 years of age at The SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC, a warm and loving care center. She was born in Johnson City Tennessee on August 23, 1946.

Pat was one of 8 children, she had 6 sisters and 1 brother and she loved them all dearly. She lived 74 amazing years and touched the lives of everyone she knew.

Pat was known as a hard worker everywhere she worked, and she really loved the ladies and gentlemen she worked with at Emerald Isle Reality, her last job before retirement. But the life she touched the most was that of her husband, Douglas Oscar White. They were married on Dec. 22, 1962. She was by his side until he passed away after 47 years of loving devotion. Together they built a loving family that includes 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas White, her daughter, Patricia White, her sisters, Donna Campbell and Lois Trivett, and her brother, Harold White.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Peltier and her husband, Rich Peltier of Jacksonville; son, Douglas White Jr. and his wife Agi White of Weilerbach, Germany; daughter, Katherine Manning and her husband, Tom Manning of Charleston, S.C.,; grandsons, Francis "Tres" Gregg and his wife Melissa Gregg of Kansas, Richard Peltier Jr. of Massachusetts, Kyle Peltier of Maysville, William "Dougie" White of Phoenix, Arizona, and Cody Manning of Charleston, S.C.; granddaughters, Patricia "Trish" Gregg, Elizabeth Clemmons of Jacksonville, Christina Buchanan and her husband, Jake Buchanan of Warner-Robins, Ga., and Whitney Lucas and her husband, Ben Lucas of Chinquapin; great-grandson Ricky Peltier of Massachusetts; great-granddaughters, Kalista Schoenberger of Greenville, SC, Anelanea Richardson of Jacksonville, Kasarah Stevenson of Jacksonville, AnnaBella Peltier of Maysville, Peyton Lucas of Chinquapin, Brianna Lucas of Chinquapin, Emily Buchanan of Warner-Robins, Georgia, and Alexa of Kansas; sisters, Charlotte Miller, Margaret Mahaffey, Trecia Hill, and Judy Finley.

Patricia White lived a full and wonderful life with many joyous memories. She was proud of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Our mother was a little woman with the stature and heart of lion. We will miss you Mom.

The family will receive friends and family on August 8, 2021, at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be held on August 9, 2021, to New Bern National Cemetery at 11 a.m.
