He had received his doctor's degree in Orthopedic's in 1946 and practiced in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was returning to Milwaukee from vacation to answer a patient's call, when his car went out of control and crashed into a tree. He died as a result of his injuries sustained in the accident. He was survived by his wife and a son.
