After 18 years of thorough researching of at least a dozen Harrison lines, the connection of this Harrison family has been made. This Harrison family descends from the Battaile Line.

Aaron Burr is the youngest son with the other siblings being George William, William Henry, Mary, Thomas, Obediah and Vincent (Twins), John, and Cuthbert. Several of the oldest children were born in Hampshire County, Virginia (West VA area) and family letters speak of Thomas and the twins, Obed and Vincent riding in baskets slung over the back of a pack mule as the animals carried them and all of their belongings over the Allegheny Mountains and onto Ohio. More kids were born and raised in Ohio counties of Ross, Pickaway and Fayette before moving west to Southern Illinois and Missouri, then north to Jo Daviess County, IL as well as up into Dubuque and westward into Iowa.
