BLUEFIELD - Lena June Clark, 74, of P.O. Box 3227 (Church Street, Bluewell), Bluefield, died Sunday, June 12, 2005 at her residence.
Born May 29, 1931 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Johnny Crocket and Lola Gills Spicer.
She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Montcalm Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Mammie Ann Gills; husband, Junior Lee Clark; sons, Roger Lee Clark and Billy Gene Clark; grandson, Randy Lee Davis; sister, Ruby Dudley; brothers, Crocket Spicer, Robert Spicer, and Tracy Spicer.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Ray Clark and wife, Brenda of Monroe, N.C., Steven Tracy Clark of Bluewell; five daughters, Laura Janet (Jeanette) Ward and husband, Steven of High Point, N.C. Norma Kathleen Hodges and husband, Darrell of Bluefield, Emma Darlene Davis and husband, Randy of Lashmeet, Pamela Victoria Clark of Bluewell, Sheba Ann Ellis and husband, Dennis of Bluefield; 18 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; special adopted daughter, Betty Ellen Perkins of Bluewell; three sisters, Maxine Oris Spicer and Nancy Ann Pennington, both of Peterstown, Mildred Marie Pennington of Rick Creek, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Allen Hawley and Rev. Randy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with sons and daughters serving as pallbearers.
