William W. Golemon was a storekeeper in Leander, LA. He was married to Malora McDonald Golemon of the Hammock Community. They had two children, William " Uncle Willie" Golemon and my grandmother, Delia Golemon Nichols. I was born shortly before my great-grandfather passed away, but was told by older cousins that he was a sweet man. My father, Gethren Nichols, stayed most of the time at "PaPa and MaMa's" house, as his younger brother was sickly and his mother had her hands full raising him. I know my daddy thought the world of PaPa, as did PaPa, him. He spoiled his grandson rotten, as would my grandmother attest to.
