Steven A. Belger, 59 longtime resident of Iowa City died suddenly Saturday, March 27, 2021, at his home near Isabella, Minnesota.

Steven Alan Belger was born October 6, 1961 in Iowa City the son of Charles D. and Dorothy (Villhaurer) Belger. He attended Iowa City Community Schools graduating from City High School with the Class of 1980. He began working at Proctor & Gamble and this turned into over twenty-seven years of service before taking early retirement to pursue living in his dream home in northern Minnesota. He bought land in the woods, brought his camper up there, bought a tiny house and was living his dream hiking and simply enjoying the wilderness with Koda, his dog. Life was good!

His family includes his two siblings, Linda Hobart and Tom Belger and his wife, Susan; six nieces and nephews, ten great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece and of course his four legged best friend, Koda. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and a grandniece.
