DUHRING — Janice Marie Lusk, 69, of Route 2, Box 404, Duhring, died on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born on June 14, 1937 in Goodwill, she was a daughter of the late Henry Tracy and Bertha May Myers Dillon. She had lived in the Duhring community her entire life and was a member of the Lorton Lick Baptist Church where she was the Sunday School Secretary and was in the Ladies Missions of the Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Udell Lee Lusk and three brothers, Clyde, Marvin, and Sherman Dillon preceded her in death.
Survivors: One son: William Lusk of Bluefield, Va.; one daughter: Shelia Langford and husband Sidney of Coca, Fla.; three sisters: Brenda Dillon of Bluefield, Violet Niswander of Honoraville, Ala., Louise Lewis of Woodstown, N.J.; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Saturday, Aug. 05, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. Shawn Bragg officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Members of the church will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends and family called at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell on Friday, Aug. 04, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
