Charles Gleich, aged 62, of Morris, Ill., native of this city, (Sheboygan) was found dead on the floor of his room Thursday, December 5.
In a statement received by a daughter, Mrs. Alfred Eisner of this city, it told that Mr. Gleich had been employed by a farmer in Morris, on Monday, December 3, and had his supper at the farmer's home that evening. He failed to make an appearance the next morning or all day, so on December 5, the farmer, Samuel White, went to Mr. Gleich's room where he found, the latter on the floor. Inquest by the coroner showed that Mr. Gleich had been dead at least 48 hours. The jury attributed death to natural causes.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Morris, Ill. The Rev. C. M. Hanson officiated and interment was made in Saratoga cemetery in Morris, Ill.
Mr. Gleich will be remembered by many Sheboygan people.
Surviving him are the following children: John Gleich of this city, Mrs. Alfred Eisner of this city, Mrs. Arvin Sprenger, route 1, Sheboygan, and August Gleich of Malta, Mont.
Before he moved to Morris, Ill., Mr. Gleich was a resident of Sheboygan throughout his boyhood. Following his marriage, he and his wife lived here and in this vicinity for many years. There marriage was blessed with two sons and two daughters.
