MARIA JOSEFINA (JOSIE) CHAVIRA, 62, loving mother and grandmother passed away Friday, November 23, 2007. She was a longtime resident of El Paso. Josie was preceded in death by her husband, Hector Chavira. She is survived by her daughter Linda Chavira. Sons: Francisco R. Chavira and Hector R. Chavira. Grandchildren: Frank Chavira, Daniel Chavira, Adam Chavira and Andrew Chavira. Brothers: Jose Leyva and Manuel Leyva. Sister-in-Law: Rachel Leyva and various nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Vigil Service will be Sunday at 7 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Mission. With heavy hearts, we celebrate her life. Her faith and strength inspires all who loved her. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements by HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME 1060 Carolina Drive 598-3332.
