Larry received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University and his MBA from Duke University which is where his love for the Duke Blue Devils began. He went on to work for the McDonald's Corporation Real Estate division where he would meet his future wife, Rosie. He later realized his dream of becoming an independent real estate entrepreneur and started Cazman Investment Company. In addition to his love of the Duke Blue Devils, he was an avid sports fan and was active in coaching youth sports for his sons. Larry had a passion for the game of golf that started at a young age, playing with his dad and brothers. He was the captain of the golf team at Choate Rosemary Hall in 1978 and played in countless golf tournaments. One of his proudest moments was winning the Member Guest Championship at Wallingford Country Club in 1990.
Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife of 24 years, Rosie Carrozzella. He is survived by his loving children, Michael Carrozzella, Joseph Carrozzella, and Elyse Fernandes, brothers, John Carrozzella, MD of Florida, Christopher Carrozzella (Mary Jane) of Wallingford and his twin, William Carrozzella of Bethlehem, a niece, Andie and nephew, John and his loving companion, Doreen Camp of Wallingford. He will also be dearly missed by his dog Bella.
Friends can greet the family on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m. directly in Church of The Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford. Interment will be held privately.
