Wealthy Annette ("Nettie") Bennett was the daughter of Jeremiah Bennett and Emmeline Forsythe.

She married William Cicero Day, son of Ithamer C. Day and Elvira Davis, on November 5, 1870, in Alameda County, California; they were married until his death on July 27, 1923. On the 1910 Census, Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, it was stated that Mrs. Day had born twelve children and that eleven were living. All twelve of those children are linked below.

"Mrs. Anna [sic-Annette] Day Died Thursday
Mrs. Anna [sic-Annette] Day, 73 [sic-77], died at her home on the Benicia Road on Thursday afternoon. The remains were taken to Pleasanton for interment."

"Mrs. Nettie Day Passes--News has been received here of the death of Mrs. Nettie Day, pioneer resident of Sunol, which occurred at the home of Mrs. May Heath of Vallejo, a daughter, on December 30th [sic-31st]. She was the mother of Mrs. Ella Hitchcock [sic-Hitchcox] and Miss Florence Day of Napa; Mrs. Heath of Vallejo; Frang [sic-Frank] Day of Los Angeles, Walter Day of Yreka, Wm. Day of Oakland, Ernest Day of Livermore and Arthur Day of Sunol. She was a sister of Jas. Bennett of Livermore."
