Services For Mrs. Franks At Fifty-Six Wednesday
Mrs. Viola Franks, wife of T. W. Franks of Calico Rock, was born February 14th, 1904 at Wild Cherry, Ark., and died April 10th, 1956, at Allens Hospital in Batesville at the age of 51 years, 1 month and 26 days. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Eugene of Salem, Ark., J. W. of Calico Rock and four daughters, Mrs. Imogene Branscum, Culp, Mrs. Betty Jo Pinkston, Culp; Mrs. Willie Teague and Mrs. Nadine Hamby of Calico Rock. Two brothers, McKinley Brewer, Calico Rock and Ray of Marked Tree. One sister, Mrs. Manice Whiteaker of Calico Rock. Thirteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Church at Fifty Six, with Rev. Satterfield of Mtn. View officiating. Burial in Fifty Six cemetery under direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
