Mr. Mark Alan Burchett, Sr., 58, of Worth County, died on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his residence.
The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Enigma Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Etheridge will officiate.
Mr. Burchett was born on December 4, 1962 in Albany, GA., to the late Darnell and Linda Bishop Burchett. He lived in Worth County most of his life and was retired from Flint River Textile, where he was also a volunteer firefighter. Mr. Burchett was actively employed with the Marine Corps Logistic' Base in Albany where he worked in the Maintenance Department. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and working on old cars, but most importantly spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Burchett of Worth County; children, Mark Alan Burchett, Jr., Kristy Burchett, Samantha Burchett, Kimberley Burchett, Naomi Spires , Wayne Adams, Jeff Adams; grandchildren, Kaylan Burchett, Brooklyn Burchett, Peyton Elise Acevedo, Carrie Deal, Bradley Deal, Rowdy Adams, Heather Adams, and Myrakle Adams; siblings, Michael Burchett, and Donna Burchett Hand (Billy) all of Forsyth, GA.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
